Tailored core drills
WE CUSTOMIZE IT!
We make every diamond drill, regardless of diameter, length or connection.
Drill production in-house
To be able to supply diamond drills of the highest quality, Adamas has the production of these completely in-house in its branch in Herentals, Belgium. With the use of high-quality diamond powders and a specially developed Zig-Zag laser weld for our drills, we are unique within the BENELUX. By producing diamond drills completely in-house, we can deliver diameters from Ø10 mm to Ø1200 mm from stock. Special intermediate sizes or exceptional lengths are also available very quickly. We have many special drill pipes in stock that can be made to length or diameter immediately according to your wishes. We are the only one in Europe to produce our EVO drilling segments with a tilted shape. The advantage of this is that the narrow top has an immediate grip in the concrete from the very first drilling. A sophisticated composition of metal powders and high-quality diamond grains guarantee a high cutting speed, while the exceptional segment height of 12 mm extends the life of the drill. After the tipping tip of the segment has worn off, the segment has sharpened itself perfectly and will drill a perfect hole in heavily reinforced concrete types time and time again without vibrations. The 1.5 mm high neutral foot of the segment has a high carbon percentage, which means that we can apply an extremely strong Zig-Zag shaped weld seam between the segment and the steel drill pipe with a 0.2 mm wide laser beam. The Adamas EVO drills are available in different variants that can be perfectly adapted to any drilling project.

Zig Zag laser welding
The technique of welding segments onto a drill pipe with a laser is now generally known.
The quality is good, segments stay on the drill pipe until the end of their life and everyone can work with confidence.
Adamas has invested in a laser welding station with which we can further improve and refine this process. We can make the laser beam perform a zigzagging pattern so that the weld pool becomes wider and, as a result, the weld becomes deeper and wider. Which means that the segments adhere even better and can handle extreme impact even better.
